Packing list for the Easter Retreat
Please bring the following to Camp. Let’s make it fun, fun, and more fun:
- A positive attitude
- A heart that wants to meet with Jesus.
- Directions to the retreat site
- Bible, pen, and notebook
- Pillow, Bed Sheets, Towels (
the camp does not provide bedding!
) - Appropriate clothing and shoes for the destination
- Coat and umbrella if needed.
- Toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, and deodorant
- Vitamins and prescription medications
- Snacks
- Cell phone and charger
A Parental Consent Form must be filled out by parents for every minor child not accompanied by a parent. Please download the form, return it back to ACF Minnesota, or bring it to the retreat.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE RETREAT:
Fellowship
- The retreat is designed to be a time of fellowship, prayer, and renewal.
- We will reflect on the person and mission of Jesus Christ and his redeeming love for “Whosoever Wills.”
- We’ll have a wonderful time of fellowship with others,
- We’ll enjoy a time of group bible study, and
- We’ll have lots of time for personal reflection.
Worship
- You’re in for an incredible time of worship.
- Saturday night is an especially powerful experience.
- Praise, Worship, Testimonies, and Prayer usher in an awesome presence of God with a great outpouring of anointing.
Team Work
The Lake Wapogasset Bible camp is made available for our use during the Easter weekend at a very minimal cost.
- We do our own setup, cooking, and cleanup.
- This is truly a family retreat. That means that everyone gets to participate in the chores.
- You will be scheduled to cook, clean, wash dishes, mop the floor, etc. In return we get to use the camp for two nights at minimal cost.

We are actively requesting volunteers at Wapogasset in three areas:
- Kitchen – Several shifts – Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
- Children’s care
- Clean up

The ACF organizes a few Conferences from the national level to the regional in an alternating fashion:
Odd Number Year – National Conference
Even Number Year – Regional Conferences
These conferences are usually during the 4th of July week. Actual dates and venues are decided well in advance so that members can plan for them.

Purpose (Vision)
The Young Adult (YA) Ministry operates under the African Christian fellowship and was established to cater to the needs of Young Adults defined as adults in college, college graduate/new career (Post-college) age group by building relationships and outreach activities
